Right.  Also, maybe the bar is just ridiculously low, as every week we see another example of how NOT to do this.  I’m the type of guy where a real apology goes a really long way, so this is meaningful to me.

I know many people often say that apologies don’t matter, or that they’re usually too late, but this was a very well-written and seemingly genuine one. This is about the best anybody can do who has said something hurtful in the past.

I watched The Croods: A New Age by myself in an empty theatre.  It was a stupid movie but I kinda enjoyed the solitude.  It was like watching a movie at home... just, a 100-foot screen and no cat on my lap.  Breaking even there.
