Marketing 101: Attention is Finite.

The first movie was interminably boring.  I love Westerns, but this was a slog, and headed nowhere.  It was like telling somebody that “Stairway to Heaven” is a great song, then only allowing them to listen to the first two minutes.  Like, okay, that’s fine, and real freaking slow, but it’s incomplete.

Can the motherfucker fix his fucking glasses?  Geez, it’s not hard.

You can get a UTI from that.

No doubt, no doubt.

True, but still think “To the 5 Boroughs” is really underrated. So many great tracks.

Yeah you're not wrong. He was in the trailer as much as the movie basically.

Loved the movie, but totally understand the B- CinemaScore as many moviegoers around me were mumbling during the quiet parts — they were not ready for the slow sections — and talking about how they thought it was boring when it was over.

Yes! I am this generation who saw this movie from age 11 to 16 probably fifty times. I am sure it was the only thing I knew Richard Lewis from for many years.

This movie was so good, but man I was disappointed it didn't get an Oscar nomination. It deserved all the accolades for its fantastic style, humor, and heart!

Yeah, I don’t disagree.  I have a feeling, though, that Shane’s overlong and cringey monologue was the real reason why.

The cut-for-time sketch might have been the funniest part of the show. A shame it didn’t air:

An okay list, but missing “Them Belly Full (But We Hungry)“ is atrocious.

This is how democracy dies: with thunderous applause.
