As a dude who just bought a 2-year-old  model Y for half price, I thank him and other new-car buyers for their sacrifice.  Also quoted trade-in value is a scam if your car is in any kind of decent condition.  I've sold my last 3 cars myself for 2-4x their "trade in value.". 

Yep same here. We’re a 2-income family in a high-property tax blue state; we paid about an extra $2500/year after the Trump “tax cuts.” :/

I never understood why people insist on buying OEM replacement tires. There are nearly ALWAYS better or cheaper (or both!) available for any car.

I think it’s ugly. The front and rear are both lovely, but the high beltline and tiny misshapen windows are all out of proportion. New cars suck generally IMO.
