100% untrue. I’m in the demographic who would buy one of those cars and the presence or absence of a $7,500 credit would be important enough for me to be determinative of whether I pulled the trigger or not.

That bed trunk is awesome 99.9% of the time, but it forced Honda to have a really compromised spare tire location. When I think of the “best cars” of the ‘80s, I see the posters on the walls of my childhood bedroom. Now that I’m a middle-aged man, I concede that most of them weren’t very good cars. I think it’s important for the best car to at least be a good car.
