Sure, but even if GM didn’t have the ability or desire to engineer their own off road suspension, a theoretical sport truck wouldn’t need to be off road focused.

So when is the Silverado SS with this engine coming?

Honestly, I had a lot more fun on the practice/qualifying days than when I actually attended the race. No matter where you sit, you’re only seeing a small fraction of the track anyways, so in many ways the TV viewing experience is superior if you’re actually interested in watching the action. Plus avoiding all the

Ugh, too many hours into my Friday to pick up on that, but yes I agree.

Right now they’re expensive and it takes more energy to make them than you get out of them.

Wouldn’t biodiesel/synthetic fuels be both less disruptive and likely less expensive in the long run?

I promise I’m not a strict Manual 4 Liiiiiifeeee guy, but they really did themselves a disservice by making this auto only.

I mean sure, they aren’t sold orders or guaranteed allocations, but I’ve been trying for a couple months now to get on as many lists as I can and a lot of dealers simply aren’t accepting anyone else on their lists, deposit or not.

Nowhere that I’m aware of is still accepting any Z06 reservations at MSRP, the big dealers that don’t charge markups have lists hundreds or thousands of people long, and the small dealers all have unclear allocations and/or markups.

Great list.

LS3 is pretty popular, I personally think any more power than that is kind of silly for a 50 year old truck, but people do build them with the supercharged engines too.

You guys already know what I’m going to suggest.

Yeah this is it and nothing else is really close.

Would have been simultaneously the best and worst thing on the road.

Plenty of spots in flyover country where you can go dozens of miles in any direction without finding a VW dealer.

These might have been forgotten in some places, but there’s still a bunch of them cockroaching around in the Midwest.

JdN might have been one of the worst matched executives to a brand ever. Amazing how other than (maybe) the Blackwing cars, there is nothing left of his legacy at today’s Cadillac.

I’m always shocked when stuff like this comes out, not that it exists, but by long it took to arrive.

It’s too bad the very limited configurations of F150 that allow for a 2900 lb payload aren’t the ones with the 5.5 foot bed that this fits.
