I’m biased - Lain was the first non-broadcast anime that I got into, way WAY back in the day. But this seems like a fairly harmless and whimsical “hack”.

I’ve loved her in this role, but it’d be foolish to expect her to play this character until the end of time, or even to want to. Her career and the franchise has moved on, and that’s fine. The movies we have hold up excellently (3 of them do, anyway) - I can always watch them again.

At least copies of this game will take up less space when we end up throwing most of them in the landfill.
