I had reserved a timed ticket to an art museum, but then the hammock came a day early, so I went to it instead.

Stitch is comparable size to Dakota, so I pay close attention to the vibes he gives off lol, though his “leave me alone” bites are relatively gentle.

Additional Frank story: this morning, I went downstairs to look for someone. I turned the corner and saw a volunteer standing in the doorway of Frank’s room, holding the door open, and Frank peeking out before strolling into the hallway. I approached and asked her if she wanted him back in the room and she said yes…

Shelter Cat Update!

My supervisor refers to them as “The Frat Boys.” It is an apt description.  ;)

We use a chemical called novalsan to disinfect a room before we move a cat into it. I spray my clothes with it between room visits as a precaution. When I get a bite/scratch, I spray and rinse the affected area *three times* with it, then wash with soap and water twice, then use an alcohol swab. I am a cautious hooman.

He is a sweetie under all that trauma, and the sweetie part is taking back over. 

That entire room (Donegal/Merlot/Dakota/Mortimer) needs to be adopted as a group - they are hysterical! They will feature prominently again in the next update.

I think Frank was most certainly having a body memory of a previous trauma that I accidentally triggered. But he is improving daily. We actually *played a game* this week (photo in the next update!).

It’s been a while since I’ve devoted as much time to Lullaby Therapy, but this is a case where I feel it had a real beneficial effect.
