One design flaw: The corner cabinets go all the way up to the ceiling, and Marble has figured out how to access all three shelves, from above and/or below, so no noms of ANY kind can be stored in packaging that can be chewed open. He’s not fussy!

*If* they keep their end of the bargain, I can resume visits Wednesday. I’m not holding my breath. Going to be interesting to see how the FIV Unit supervisor responds to my severing contact with that side. 

Shorn floofs can be sculpted into so many fascinating shapes.

Here’s what I think is happening. We were good friends, to the point where, last year, she confided a secret to me about her health that threw me for a loop both because of the seriousness of the secret, and that she confided it to me in the first place.

This takes polydactyl to all new levels. I EXPECT AN UPDATE ON THOSE TOES.💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

I’m sorry to hear about the changes at your shelter. The kitties are why I started, and the kitties are why I stayed. Fortunately, they take *very* good care of me, as you can see.  ;)

Thank you, OW. I’ve managed to maneuver through the quagmire relatively unscathed. But this one, it hurts. And the best way to get back at them is to continue to do what I do and do it well. 

Thank you so much. I know what I do for the cats, but sometimes it helps to hear it from others, and tonight is one of those times. Many of you over the years have told me what the updates mean to you, and that makes my work at the shelter even more rewarding compared to a lot of the other volunteers.
