Apparently, it was also very difficult to develop software for the Saturn.  That's what probably gave Sony the upper hand.  Despite Nintendo shooting themselves in the foot with more expensive cartridges, the N64 was supposedly easier for devs.  It's such a shame, as more than a few awesome games were Saturn

How Did This Get Played? did an episode on this game and they spent a lot of time talking about how fantastic the music was.

Not sure where you’re situated in the world, but Waterworld SNES was only released in Europe, so you can be forgiven for not knowing this existed.

Always glad to see the Waterworld game OST get noticed. It’s shockingly AMAZING.

Evans is simply the best ever to work on the SNES. The tracks of his used in The Flintstones are outrageously sick.

This soundtrack doesn’t sound like it is using the SNES instrument set I typically hear from SNES games of that time. If you listen to Super Mario World, Ghosts and Goblins, Breath of Fire, Final Fantasy IV/VI, and other SNES games, they were all pretty much using the same distinctive instrument set. Brass always

I didn’t know Waterworld had a videogame tie in. I saw the movie the same day I saw Sandra Bullock’s The Net. I thought it was a good movie.

It’s back! And with such a good soundtrack to boot.
