I just built a new PC (replacing my ten year old PC I built which had a retail copy of win 7 installed).  I downloaded the Windows 10 installer, installed it, and used my Retail Windows 7 key from a decade and it took it no problem, as if it was a windows 10 key.

Can you explain your issue with having a G+ account made mandatory. If you don't use it then isn't that just as good as not having it? I honestly don't understand the outrage people have about Google having something of a central hub for photos, videos and a social network all in one.

I tried this addon but it still didn't fix all the little quirks for me. So Instead I switched to palemoon & palemoon for linux. It's a nice fork of firefox and all my firefox addons work with it and it doesn't have the new UI.

I miss the old days of getting the config.sys and autoexec.bat exactly right for different games and Windows setups. When Qemm ruled, when you had to SET BLASTER and DMA and IRQ ranges mattered, when 640kB seemed like such a huge pool to work with.... The younglings don't know how easy they have it.
