My son just researched these and discovered that the binoculars and the camera are separate (note the three lenses in front views.) So the 12X magnification is irrelevant if you’re snapping photos. Caveat emptor and all that.
If customs was the bottleneck, you might first want to consider the free Mobile Passport Control app. I used it on a return trip from Europe to Boston recently and was literally through customs in under 10 min. Lifehacker clued me in:
Switched to Manjaro from Win7 back in September, and was pleasantly surprised that just over 50% of the games in my Steam library ran natively on Linux. Add in the ones that also work great under Steam Play/Proton, and the percentage increases to over 80%.
So I’d counter that “most games” DO work on Linux. I even have…
(Try the Untitled Goose Game, if they haven’t played it already.)
Thank you for pointing that out! Shockingly, it never occurred to me to calculate the annual kickback as a dollar amount.
If you’re paying $120 per year for Prime and intentionally delaying your shipments in order to earn back $80 ... that seems inefficient, no? (Yes, there are other Prime benefits that clearly cloud the equation. I’m just ornery.)
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve always assumed that Amazon’s impetus for launching Smile was that the minuscule charitable donation overrides whatever affiliate payout they might otherwise have to pay, which can be 6 or 8 times the .5% donation.
Very good. The distinction I’d intended to make was that there’s apparently a path to doing a fresh install of W10 with a 7/8.1 key, not just an upgrade.
Is this not also still a valid approach?
Because #SoilYourSpareCottonCloth isn’t nearly as clever?

Some of that comes from his phrasing, though. Consider:
The car label lists FEATURES, including some that you as a consumer may find desirable — but these do not materially alter the functionality of the vehicle. “Organic” and “GMO free” fall into that category, IMO. The same could be said for “kosher.” We don’t label the majority of groceries as “Not Kosher” do we?
Labels that say “GMO Free” are one thing. Labels that say “Contains GMO ingredients” are an entirely different matter.
This is true. One caveat though: Allowing the smoke detectors to communicate with the thermostats can be a problem if you have free-roaming pets. Dogs & cats don’t trigger the thermostat’s motion detector, but do appear as “occupants” to the smoke detectors.
