Boom. Just picked up the whole series on eBay for £37.05. That's good, right? I mean, it's not bad… Is it? Ah, screw it, I'll have The Wire next week.
After playing LoydBraun's Community quiz, I ran across this one, which is also rather good:
I'm watching about 5 eBay auctions for the box set. I've never seen a single second of the series, but I'm determined to track down and watch the whole thing based purely on AVC comments. That's how I got into Community, after all.
Maybe she's rebelling against a family of agnostics. "Lazy man's atheist," and all.
So I'm watching Stripes in the early hours of the morning (as you do) and I've just got to the original Winger Speech. Jeff's dad must be Bill Murray or he must not appear at all. This is not a thing where there are other options.
Oh, as in, "that's bearnaise." Duh doy.
45. Missed:
Movie reference.
The pilot wasn't set on the first day of classes — it's conceivable that a week passed between registration and the study group forming.
Changry, perhaps?
So, while we wait for comment #30,000 (or Community's return, whichever comes first), how about this thing I just made up: One quote per episode, describing/summarising/capturing the spirit of that episode (alternatively, just your favourite line). Fishsticks may accompany quotes.
Sounds fun. The question is, who do we limit it to? Is it strictly the study group? Faculty, too? Leonard and Starburns? Magnitude and Vicky? Inspector Spacetime and Constable Reggie?
And now for something ill thought-out and an hour late! It's two in the morning. Not sure why I did this. Community reference.
Did anyone get the lyrics right?
20k(ish)!
Ah, nostalgia.
I suggest we channel our energies into a Remedial Chaos Theory-only marathon til 8. The only question is who has to get the pizza in. If only there were some way to solve that dilemma.
Was I flagged for realsies by a militant 20k activist(/cat owner), or has Disqus Britta'd it again?
I never said 20k. *cough* Whatever gave you that idea?
