Here’s a thought experiment: is there a single recognizable Republican politician that Bowen Yang and this writer (and many of the commenters) would be OK with seeing on SNL in 2024? Mitt Romney? Liz Cheney?

I too have also been less than thrilled about what’s been going on at SNL, for the past 30 years or so.

I’d be curious to see the political breakdown of the SNL viewership. I’d venture it’s far more conservative than the cast. With respect to Haley, the show has a long history of having on all kinds of political figures so I don’t read too much into this.
