Say what you will, but I’ve had Duratracs and Silentarmors on two different trucks and they both held up well in any condition. Silentarmors in particular were great on the road but managed to handle hard oilfield use- ice roads, thick mud etc.

Every car I’ve ever driven daily except for one has had over 150k miles...
I’d rather 230k on a 5.3 or 6.0 than 147k on a Triton
Jokes aside, WRX is the answer here
...I had NO idea those had a split tailgate
Dom and Magary are the reasons I visit.
Collins’ review of the V6 Challenger was spot on. It’s heavy and you feel it but good power and interior, very stable, very comfortable, very roomy. Steering was imprecise. It’d be an awesome cruiser/commuter if you live where the snow hits.
I recently rented and got upgraded for free to a new Charger V6 Rallye, it was by far the best FCA vehicle I’ve driven and looks great to boot.
In before “the real crime is portrait mode haha!”
I will always star vintage black metal
I was more saying it resembles a Defender in looks and the sparse/basic interior. And while I wouldn’t mind having one, dropping $60k on a utilitarian 4x4 is not gonna happen. You could buy a $2500 XJ and $57,500 worth of gas instead! Which means you could run it for about two years.
I’ve only taken out a loan to buy one car, and the loan wasn’t attached to the title in any way. I sold the car with a clean title and used the funds to pay off the remainder of the loan. But this is Canada so things may be different?
Actually there is a solution if he “wants to get into a truck”. Sell car privately for far more than the $16,300 trade in, pay off as much of loan as possible, search craigslist for- body type: pickup, price: <$4000. Suck it up and pay into remaining loan balance every month until it is paid off. Drive cheap pickup…
“All electric Defender-ish thing with 360hp, AWD and 200 miles of range?! Sign me the fu-”
Man. Those guys are nerdier than the squares on TDI forums, and that’s not being said lightly.
I bet the production trucks will have them. Hold up way better when running over curbs, potholes, hardened crackheads..
I just bought a blue 96 Chevy truck with a blue interior. It is the tits.
