One is actually going to Poland for the duration of the maternity leave.

That's nothing. In the past year, six couples of friends have had kids or become pregnant, with four kids being born between last week and end of November.

I'm overall pretty bad at asking people out, but if your issue is strictly the asking out part and not when first meeting someone, dating websites and apps are a way to bypass that issue as a date will arrive quickly and naturally.

Congratulations!

Just one comment weeks after the fact, bit of nitpicking, but I'm fairly confident Carax just filmed the water-skiing on Bastille Day so he could take advantage of the fireworks, he didn't actually stage them.

Noir traditionally only includes black and white movies and tends to cut-off at 1960, that's two fine neo-noirs you have, but you can't really get pissy about what noir is if you're going to bend the rules yourself.

It also has an old rich jerk of dubious morals, various money related schemes, a femme fatale of sorts, and an innocent man corrupted by his environment. I think you've got something there.

As bad as he was thought to be, he was still a male character.

You guys decided to save My Night At Maud's for tomorrow?
