This is exactly how I feel on the matter. I love my Switch, and I don’t regret the purchase at all, but before it came out, the hope of a relatively powerful portable system with a healthy Virtual Console was one of the big draws to me. 50% of my mind was “well, it’s Nintendo, so not implementing the VC for the first

Them: “The all-digital future will be great! No one needs physical media anymore! Get with the program, olds!”

Me: “You won’t own a damn thing you purchase (not that we did with physical media either; dem EULAs), and eventually, companies will start selling your childhood back to you via subscription services.”

Them:

I knew it. And I should’ve understood sooner why they didn’t announce it before. They wanted to sucker us in, using our own expectations of VC against us as an invisible bullet point on the back of the box. Once they’d sold a year’s worth of consoles they felt safer in admitting they wouldn’t do it.

Yes? How are you?

They’re not nearly as annoying as you make them out to be. I enjoyed the encounters with them and they go down quickly when you use spartan rage and throw a couple boulders at them. If something that simple makes you want to put the controller down and not pick it up again, that says more about you then the game

I’m not surprised that the Robot kit isn’t doing as well as the other one. One one hand, you have a kit that’s cheaper and comes with a bunch of different toys and games.

Yea they really need to change the building. It should take time to build and you shouldn’t be able to build while moving. Building should be preparation for battle not part of battle. That’s just stupid to me.

This. It is probably appealing to some, but I doubt its success has anything to do with the building mechanics.

Would be fun to see them implement a “no-building” mode for a while to see how much people like it or not.

Exactly. I would easily play more Fortnite if I didn’t have to build. That scares me away from the game.

My fingers always get confused with the building controls, I mean I won’t act like I was ever a good shot but whenever I get into more intense combat and I know the right thing to do is to build a wall in front of me but I end up getting stuck on the ramp or the floor and then being unable to switch back to the right

Yeah i might actually enjoy the game if it isn’t full of people who just build ramps over your head so their friends can drop down either sides to wipe you out.

This. Every time I see what Fortnite is doing, I wish I could get into it... these old bones just don’t have the speed for that anymore. I applaud them though. Well done.

It’s why I always end up going back to PUBG. They really need a cooldown for building.

Agreed. Every time I see something compelling about the game, I remember that if you are not a twitchy, insta builder, you’re going to lose. Oh well, the game certainly isn’t hurting without my presence.

The Lady Gaga collaboration remains especially baffling to me. A song whose chorus goes “Do what you want with my body” with R fucking Kelly? How was there no one in the room saying “ Hold on, even if all the accusations against this dude are false (and they’re not. He was married to a 14 year old, and that’s a matter

I do wonder how you can so much as sit in a room, much less work together, with the guy and not look directly at him and say, “Hey, you’re that guy who essentially brags about fucking children.”

Other artists who have continued to work with this piece of shit do not get nearly the amount of grief they deserve.

“often in their late teens”

Your mama, bitch

The only photos of Michelle we have rights to are of her alongside Patton. So it was either a close, awkward crop, or something resembling the one I used, which I think is actually sort of sweet—especially because he has continued her work.
