Because it’s the previous generation model and they’re probably clearing dead stock.

Well for prototyping ideas or just making things rapidly, it seems great. It’s actually extremely accessible despite the vast array of feature which you really can’t say about any game engine, even Unreal. It has everything you need to make a game within one piece of software, it doesn’t require programming knowledge

Calibrate your monitor.

I agree but I can also see how this might annoy those who take the game seriously because the uncertainty of the hit boxes, I assume all characters use the same basic hit box which means somewhere inside the banana body is a human shaped head hitbox that you can’t clearly see

Not saying a lot seeing as anime becomes more and more unpure every year

That would render about half the cast far less viable due to the game not being balanced around the smash meter mode and would reduce the skill involved in getting kills since about half of the final smashes are near guaranteed kills at low to mid percentages.

Takeshita isn’t representative of Harajuku at all. Your impression of Harajuku online isn’t correct but then again tourists also tend to only see Takeshita and the front touristy side of Harajuku which is gentrified western trash.

Just give me ways to play N64 games in 2018, preferably on switch. I want to give you money Nintendo but you won’t let me.

I take it you haven’t been to Takeshita Street then? It’s the biggest example of the gentrified hellscape some areas of Tokyo are turning into. It’s easily the worst place in Tokyo and it’s sad because it used to be so important to youth culture, there are still some areas on the other side of harajuku that are alive

It really feels like Nintendo just doesn’t give a shit about their fans immediately after having another success like the Wii... They’re not listening to what people want.

It’s definitely not unique to gamers, of course but I feel like the gaming community is more open with their hostility than other communities which tend to isolate and mistreat women behind the scenes, gamers just seem more openly hostile than most internet communities. The alt-right political communities and incel

I think the stories are so different that no, they can’t both be “correct”. It sounds like he has some serious issues. I think it’s good that Kotaku corrected things after the fact because I don’t think they expected mobs of people to harass this poor girl because this guy told this dramatic fake story of her leaving

He enjoys exploring while showing a lack of respect for it.

I feel really bad for her. Her side sounds much more believable. Unfortunately a lot of gamers don’t have a clue when it comes to shit like this and are okay with demonizing girls simply for rejecting them. Sounds like they were never actually a full couple either but he couldn’t take the hint when she wanted to end

This isn’t a new announcement right? We already knew of all these characters. Just the release date is new.

Is there a rule against shirtlessness for guys there? I am pretty certain he wouldn’t get kicked out at an American convention, and a lot of people would recognize who he’s cosplaying as.

But I think fundamentally littering on video in a country you claim you love only shows that you don’t really love it because you’re treating it like shit and leaving your trash behind for other people to clean. I live in Japan and when I see other gaijin drop trash, I often pick it up when they go away and toss it

This. He seems like a gross disrespectful dude with a following of gross people. IRL streamers are generally disrespectful self obsessed people anyway.

I am not sure he loves Taiwan because he doesn’t seem to understand even the most basic aspects of its culture.  I feel bad that his life got fucked up by the media targeting him, but I’m not surprised and I feel like littering repeatedly in videos and demonstrating a general lack of respect tells me that he wasn’t

This. They aren’t wrong to say he was disrespecting Taiwan’s culture in the videos, he definitely was. That said, the response was too much for that and for what people in his chat did.
