No shit. Do you think many people do that when the iso is distributed online and they don’t have to pay 50-60 dollars? Nintendo could easily see how many times their iso is being downloaded and the vast majority of those downloads are from people who feel entitled to own something they didn’t pay for (pc gamers).

Emulation is illegal if you do not own a copy of the game. If you emulate a game you do not own (the vast majority of people using emulation) you are pirating software and are basically a piece of shit

I think they’re paranoid that other people will do the concept much better. PUBG is only popular because it’s the first major game of its kind, it has so many issues and I can’t wait for a better team to use the concept to make a better game.

Last I checked BotW wasn’t released on PC. Software licenses don’t grant you the right to infinite copies on all platforms and chances are that these people do not own the original game because that’s sort of how piracy goes, Nintendo could take it down if they wanted to.

TF2 has been declining for a while, CSGO and DotA are relatively small sources of income compared to Steam as a whole but it’s true that the reason Ladlaw quit was likely because they have 0 interest in story driven games anymore because they can’t easily milk them for money.

Valve is never releasing Half Life 3. Many of the people who cared about that game coming out have moved on or quit, Ladlaw evidently quit because he realized the higher ups didn’t have any interest in making narrative games anymore.

The WipEout cover stands out, the rest are weaker by comparison. Still cool work.

It still pisses me off that Shaun Murray told people the chance of meeting people among many other things that are only finally coming out due to backlash were always going to be in the game.
