Shovel Knight continues to sell like hot cakes. The market is saturated with shitty 2D pixel art platformers because they’re easy to make, if you don’t set yourself apart yes, there is no more money to be made with mediocrity.

It’s supposed to be very 8 bit, not 16 bit or pseudo 8 bit with tons of colors. The pixel art isn’t super elaborate but the character designs are iconic and memorable. I don’t even like the game but I can’t deny that the character designs are super memorable.
