Is this a nut right wing renaissance or have stupid people been quieter for the past 10 years? Or do we notice it more now? I feel like more and more of the blowhards are getting elected instead of the more underhanded racism and sexism that shaped politics.

That would be awesome about economically disadvantaged older women! Because there aren’t a lot of those - and women are the most likely to be poor, despite the angst of Bernie Bros about working dudes. It’s true - TV in general remains highly classist and unrelatable financially speaking - still “aspirational”...

I can’t wait for the March release of the next season! This show fills a hole I didn’t know I had about role model older women, full of personality and style, building unlikely bonds, and handling life’s quirks with creativity, resilience and humour.

I love so many of these pieces... Some of them bring Klimt to mind - so vibrant and shiny. I like how D&G makes fashion indulgent and costume-y.

It’s ridiculously absurd when you’re used to hearing these arguments well-articulated... I’m coming from an academic background with a heavy focus in these areas and it’s pretty painful to hear ideas bastardized so shamelessly for what appear to be very petty and self-motivated purposes.
