So go start a business and lead by example. No one is going to do it until someone proves that focusing on maximizing profit isn't the only viable business model.

As soon as they're no longer bound by human nature.

God damn I want your job. I'm still not even sure what it is you do, but I want your job.

Russians readily redefine roadrage.

You owe me a new keyboard. This one's full of nose-coffee.

Nevermind, I'm a total retard.

Begin countdown to the official Dax Shepard Q&A...

"One little short or broken wire and you wouldn't be able to stop."

Hmmm... what's the lightest-weight production car with enough room under the hood (after removing the engine) for the batteries needed to drive all four wheels?

So basically this could also be a low-fi version of the electronic KERS some F1 cars use? Could an all-electronic/magnetic braking system work as well as disk breaks?

So in the end it's just a matter of keeping the unsprung weight low so that the tires leave the road less often. Got it. Thanks!

Noob question time! I know what sprung and unsprung weight is now (thanks, Xander!) but why is unsprung weight bad?

But how? The only thing I can think of is to increase the diameter of the disk and mount the caliper in the "normal" way just further away from the axle and therefore next to the magnets, but then you'd end up needing dubs on the back of your old Honda wagon.

After watching the video it didn't seem like the system left any room for break calipers. Was I just missing something?

Especially if you happen to be entering the country through Miami International. Death isn't just preferable if you have to get through customs it's actually welcome (and very nearly guaranteed).

I wouldn't go quite that far but death is preferable to driving around that Godforsaken city.

I'm afraid too. There's nothing wrong with being afraid.

Periwinkles?

Don't you dare speak such lies.
