Well yeah, any preserved meat will by its very nature last longer, but back when I was getting Dietz & Watson or Boars Head I’d start to get slime within three or four days.

It kinda makes sense if you use lunch meat infrequently (like I occasionally do), since after even a couple days opened deli meat gets funky. Not saying I’d buy this, mind you, but I get where they’re coming from.
