Everyone noticed when I was struggling at college. I just ignored them though. I assume most people do the same.

I’m curious what other colleges you considered - do you ever think about what college you would have been happier at? Certainly it’s no secret Columbia is a bit of a grind (— and in her case obviously Fu is full of swots) - so what made you pick it?

Don’t forget it sounds like she’s on a full ride scholarship, too. $67,000 per year. So it wasn’t her tuition money she flushed down the drain when she skipped her finals. It baffles me why she couldn’t just switch her major to something far less intense and boring than engineering.
