I’m not exactly sure why the media/internet hive mind has decided to focus on nepotism but huge numbers of people follow in the same field as their parents. The number of plumbers, electricians, home/septic inspectors, shop owners, attorneys, etc. that I know who got their start in the family business is huge.

I don’t know the Parker books but it sounds like Shannon is the strongest bet, given those criteria.

Most of those things would perfectly describe Steve Jobs or Zuckerberg as well.

Despite the fact that the movie argued that he was an idiot, Edward Norton’s character was very smart/skilled in one aspect, finding the right people, building them up from also rans into starts, and manipulating them. He had good “Emotional IQ”

I haven’t watched all of this show, but he really carried it.

He probably also doesn’t want to be seen as someone with multiple sexual assault allegations made against him.

Maybe you should bring those up in a little bit of a spirit of judgement. Most people treat Snoop Dogg like some loveable mascot when it seems like he’s actually a piece of shit.

That’s to say nothing of the fact that GRRM has said there were versions of the original outline where she ended up with Jon, some of which still shows.”  Oof.

I trained with a mystic tree thing for 7 years and now I have $300,000 in student loan debt and no job!

I don’t think they even needed more seasons. If the last two seasons hadn’t been truncated they would have had seven more episodes to tell the story in a way that flowed much more smoothly and logically.

Also, Sansa should have been Queen. And the white walkers harder to kill. And there should have been one giant seen walking in the distance at the end. And 100 other things.

I think we all know that the Stark who should have been queer is Sansa. She should have ended up with Brienne because that would have been the perfect combination of her finding a noble person who was actually good to her and Brienne falling in love with a leader who was worthy. Instead, Brienne is pining after her

I feel like it has to be occasionally okay for a gay character to die on a tv series. Also, Villanelle was a lunatic serial killer who murder a young child in season 2, and a whole host of other people left right and center. She was a monster. As everyone else has been saying here, any kind of happy ending with her

American Auto has been on a pretty strong upward trajectory since the first episode (which wasn’t that bad). It has so much Veep DNA in it that you’d think they had the same crew.

How could anyone, ANYONE, think for one second that all these shows weren’t exceedingly fake and that any work that did get done wasn’t shoddier than average?

And of course crime is down as well.

Of course, unemployment and poverty in the United States are both lower than they were when that episode was made and homelessness as a percentage of the population has almost certainly dropped as well.

“Celebrity”.

It’s his music festival. He’s the main organizer of it. He regularly encourages people to storm the stage. His culpability is off the charts and his ass is going to get shredded by attorneys.

That anyone seriously considered Cynthia Nixon, a c list actor with no government experience, for Governor just shows how much absolute contempt they have for the importance of government.
