I have a firm memory of a cop just flat out asking me for a bribe at a traffic stop in NY once. I paid.

And then giggled and was all, “but really, can you imagine. Like I barely made it through that line with a straight face”. Because we all know that is bullshit. Cops are always corrupt.

On top of my sympathy for her and her circle of loved ones, I’m sad we will be denied an even more curmudgeonly, scabrous 95-year-old Wurtzel pissing us off from the comfort of a rest home.

Not only is this grounds for immediate dismissal and a horrific abuse of power, it should be considered a serious crime with serious punishment.

A needlessly complicated way of saying “all of ‘em.”

I adored her, she put into simple words what my heart and mind had always found so indescribable. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

To be clear he specifically said he’d testify to the Senate if subpoenaed. The Senate. The place run by a guy who promised there’d be no witnesses called.

Meanwhile, his mother claiming that it was the best laugh of the night shows how this idiot got the way he is. She has probably defended and validated every dumb decision he’s made in his privileged life.

Just as a general PSA: the House inquiry is still open. They could subpoena him, and have a hearing, and add articles of impeachment based on that if they wanted to.

So he’s pleading not guilty, what is his defense?  She agreed to it?  She tempted him?  This sick bastard needs to be put away for life.

Less than actual life imprisonment with no amenities whatsoever would be unjust for such inconceivably heinous monstrosity of a crime.

Nothing’s stopping him from testifying now and nothing stopped him from testifying before. This is some bullshit. If you’re going to talk, talk!

No, the complaints just get more pathetic. You could try being an interesting person with your own style. Then you wouldn’t have to copy other cultures.
