Politics is one of the oldest bloodsports.

I watched the whole press conference Sunday and it perfectly demonstrated this. He is a gaffe-prone moron. And then the political shows tried to suss out ‘what he meant’ and what any of this means. The answer is NOTHING! He is that stupid and he is unable to have any meaning beyond “I am great, I do great things!”

I know that. But, like, I’m surprised that when he steps out of the White House, he isn’t inundated with the low hum of boos from people standing outside the White House. I’m surprised some members of the press don’t just his at him. I’m surprised his Presidential motorcades don’t feature lots of thrown, rotten

It’s so obvious how staged this is. Even sadder when you realize he staged it to one-up Obama’s.

Senator McConnell, your thoughts on ‘the dignity of the office?’

He doesn't go anywhere in which he doesn't control who is allowed to attend.

Boooo autoplay ads and bad media owners!

You gotta love the showmanship inherent in his obviously staged situation room photo “during” the raid that killed Al-Baghdadi:

Also, re the “one good day”, he literally planned his attendance at Game 5 purely because he thought (or his handlers thought) that the death of “the world’s most wanted terrorist” would insulate him from said booing. The idea that people should pander to that cynicism is abhorrent, anti-democratic and frankly

The fact that Trump can go anywhere without being cursed at is a testament to how often we give too much respect to assholes and despots who don't deserve. The only thing that would've made me prouder of the area that I live in is if they had started an "ASSHOLE" or "FUCK YOU TRUMP" chant.

the thing that most powerful people want to do with power is use it to tell other people to shut up

David, I wish to register a complaint. You’ve filed this story to Politics, but this is erroneous, as this is clearly a Sports Story.

You guys are awesome. It is not hyperbole to say that this site often gets me through the day. Keep up the good work, and for the love of god do not stick to sports.

the proper dress code for running a blog is Just Look Nice, thank you for asking.

Booing a bad president is good. Booing autoplay ads and bad media owners is also good!

Booooooo!!

The only real point of drama in our wedding planning was my parents’ insistence that we have an open bar. Why? “Because Grandpa expects it and he’ll be pissed otherwise.” I give them a lot of grief for the things they choose to put their foot down on, but they were absolutely right about this.

listen: I could not all-caps every insane term. I didn’t even include California Formal.

Hey Kelsey, I need your help.  What are proper dress code rules when it comes to running a blog, specifically one about not-sports?  Asking for a friend.
