Generally speaking they're actually not bad quality. The problem is that A) It's a proprietary format and B) it's difficult to convert to any other format.

I've been seeing stories like this for a while now. Are all the states just having a competition on who can come up with the silliest anti-abortion legislation?

Except in Asia, where everything is RMVB. Fuck, I hate realplayer.

Every time I see this topic, I think back to the release of Leona, the first female tank they had in the game. This is what they said:

Well, we already have full contact chess...

I said Buddhist camp. Vegetarian diet.

That's like telling a smoker to smoke less. Technically correct, but entirely unhelpful.

Nope. They're doing more important things, like making sure that none of your food has aborted foetuses in them.

The Arnold Schwarzenegger movie Eraser featured handheld rail guns.

Just make the new model a droid, call it HK-47 and let people everywhere rejoice.

Actually, she was already called Alita when the manga was translated into English, as well as when it was made into an OVA. Can't blame Hollywood on this one.

The title Battle Angel Alita just annoys me to no end. Why Alita? What was wrong with Gally?

One thing that's probably true - men think about boobs far less than women do.

Yeah. But reasonable or unreasonable, journalism really ought to be better than this.

"Butthurt" is a term you use to describe people who are being oversensitive, so what exactly qualifies you to say that people are being too darn sensitive about this particular subject? Isn't offensiveness by definition, supposed to be determined by those who are offended by it?

[Disclaimer: I'm not familiar with the usual standard of journalism in America]

The point is that food, and martial arts, and other typical things brought to mind where Asians are involved are just irrelevant and it's simply bad journalism. Can you imagine if fried chicken and grape soda were mentioned in news reports about black basketball players?

Whitson, just wondering if the Macbook was more expensive than a Windows laptop with similar specs?

More like Japanese porno material, actually.

I can't help but think of the time when Richard Dawkins noted what was on the British pound note, and what was written on the American dollar notes, and how he couldn't help but make comparisons between the two countries and its people.
