    > I’ve seen people use bayo hate as a guise to be homophobic, or just straight up do it towards bayo players. No one talks about that shit, it’s fucking disgusting

Is it just me or is A Sister’s All You Need just hopelessly dull? I’ve tried on three separate occasions to get into either the anime or the manga because the author previously wrote Haganai which I enjoyed but I just can’t get past the first few chapters of that one cos it’s so boring.

I don’t know what it’s like in Asian countries, but in New Zealand I’ve had trouble getting Asian restaurants to understand gluten-free options. A lot of them don’t seem to know what gluten is, so they can’t tell you much beyond whether a dish has been made with wheat or not.

Did you even watch the video? What did you disagree with?

Have you ever tried Mod Organizer for Skyrim? It has a slightly higher learning curve than Nexus Mod Manager, but once you understand how it works it’s quite intuitive and makes sorting out mod conflicts and whatnot much, much easier and faster.

It should be noted that there doesn’t seem to be any official confirmation that ScarJo will be playing the character of Motoko - only that she’ll be starring in the film. So it’s possible she may be playing an original character, or possibly that Motoko will be played by someone else entirely.

There’s only one drawback to the K-series.

This one time, I was grabbing some rice out of the storage when I noticed there were a few moths in the bag. I shoo’ed them off and I feared the worst, but even then I wasn’t quite ready for what eventually came to pass.

In a future life, if I pop out of some chick’s womb and hear Australian accents, I’m crawling to the closest embassy and G[ing]TFO of there.

To my understanding, bans aren’t immediate, they come in waves.

He’s not a major character. (Spoilers) He appears in maybe two chapters and he’s basically a prank played on Yotsuba by her friends, they tricked her into thinking he’s a real robot.

Well, if you were going to make a children’s adaptation of Shingeki No Kyojin, you’d probably leave out the giant man-eating monsters and replace them with big somewhat-menacing-but-still-kinda-cute fluffy creatures that smother people to death with their fluffiness, right? :)

I stopped reading Naruto about half way through but I’m quite familiar with Shounen manga. I’ve been reading manga since kindergarten. I’ve read all manner of manga dating as far back as the era of Osamu Tezuka. I was reading Shingeki No Kyojin before it exploded in popularity, and at time of writing I am actively

See, “I don’t care” and “I don’t mind” seems to be the prevailing opinion amongst those who haven’t already condemned this as a betrayal to the source material. To me that’s the biggest sticking point - the fact that nobody actually asked for this.

Yeah I just went and read chapter 50 and I didn’t interpret it the same way you did AT ALL, and I strongly disagree that it ‘clearly’ establishes that Eren loves Mikasa the same way that she loves him. It may be hinted at here or there but it’s still more than a stone’s throw away from being factual.

Why does the lack of a sequel necessitate a romance? Are the movie studios really so concerned that a movie about giant man-eating monsters won’t be appealing enough to the mass market that they feel they must put this in to make it somehow more palatable? They do this with practically every movie now (see: Jurassic

And attacking specific examples would be evidence of missing the point entirely.

I haven’t seen that movie to comment but I’ll repeat to you what I told someone else: if the resulting work is enough of a transformation from the original then it would deserve to be judged on its own merits without making direct comparisons to the original.

I’ve seen that film. Indeed, it wasn’t a bad movie. But the keyword is ‘inspired’ here.
