It’s not a slow year for RPGs at all. Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield, Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty, Colony Ship, WH40K: Rogue Trader, Sea of Stars, FF16, Diablo 4, Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn, Wartales, Persona 5 Tactica, Star Ocean: The Second Story R, For the King 2, etc.

this is seriously one of the most epic fights in the film

I would’ve preferred Eren being crazy over this. And since he wasn’t crazy

You know what would be the real power move Nintendo could do to really stick it to those pirates?

Make their entire back catalog available at a reasonable price.

That’s not a good thing, man.
If emulation is bad, please tell me the “good” way for me to play something like Kid Icarus Uprising.

Now playing

Lies of P has been one of my favorite games of the year.

Spoilers?

Spoilers? It’s a Mario game.

Simple solution: stop the artificial scarcity by limiting production, and just make enough for everyone to buy what they want directly from a retailer. No more blind bags, just show what the person is buying. And again, make enough for everyone who wants one.

Except Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z were series targeted to a young demographic. But go ahead and delude yourself in your beliefs

You sound like a Dragon Ball Z fan and not a Dragon Ball fan. Dragon Ball was slapstick and gag humor. For crying out loud, Oolong saved the day in Dragon Ball when he wishes for a young girl’s panties.

Dragon Ball started out as a whimsical action/adventure manga with tons of gag elements to it. That’s where its roots are.

It is indeed very hard to believe that no one on that team raised their hand and said “hey, this doesn’t seem like a fun thing to do 240 times”.

Which Genesis games, EXACTLY, were over $60? I can’t think of a single one.

Your entire argument is based on NES and SNES games, and ignoring that all the other consoles, PCs, Atari ST/Amiga, Commodore 64 and so on existed and indeed were the vast majority of games sold.

I was ignoring this, as I presumed it would be 50 hours plus (I’m slow at games, so that might be 100hrs for me), but hearing it’s only 20hrs might’ve swayed me!

I miss when online was a value-adding feature for consoles, rather than an extra cost. Fuck XBL for normalising it.

no one got the joke

They just need to provide multiplayer access for free. The fact that console makers are still charging for basic multiplayer access in 2023 is absurd. It was absurd in 2013 as well but only gets more ridiculous as time goes on.
