Wait, would would XBO/PS4 owners rebuy the same game on XSX/PS5? Isn’t GTA V backwards compatible with XSX/PS5?

Legality isn’t really the issue. Like there are still states that allow child marriage, that doesn’t make it any less ‘ewww’.

To sum up what other people have said, Japanese games tend to be

In all likelihood this is probably still coming out on PC, they just want as many PC owners to buy this on console first knowing they’ll buy it all over again.

No idea about the veracity of this, but PlayTracker figures that up to 44% of GTAV owners double dip.

Or buy it physical in the first place and rip it to something like Plex for the sake of convenience.

There are definitely lawful evil paladins dedicated to evil gods. Take for example Arkhan the Cruel, who serves the goddess Tiamat.

Comparing a game to a nongame seems moot, especially when the range of price is all over the place. Like by your logic a game could cost $100's but still cost less per hour than going to a concert. I could blow $50 in the span of a few minutes in Vegas, that doesn’t normalize anything that costs less.

Why compare this to a movie ticket instead of other games? $70 seems a lot when something like Baldur’s Gate 3 only costs $60, and easily lasts $100+.  Still, so long as it doesn’t include any GaaS elements a $70 price tag isn’t close to the worse thing.

I remember, in the 90's most of my PC games came from browsing Best Buy’s limited inventory.  I don’t recall Gamestop ever having much when it came to PC games, even before Steam.

To be fair crew lives were always in danger on missions before Apollo 13. Like the Apollo 1 crew died during a launch test, and Apollo 11 had some near misses.

Oh yeah, traits make a noticeable difference in gameplay.  Kinda wish I never took the one for getting a home since I never really used it.  But even with those, I don’t see Starfield having the same replay as a game like Baldur’s Gate 3.

Not only was going to the moon an incredible feat of science and engineering, it was also incredibly risky. Everything from takeoff(they strapped themselves to hundreds of thousands of gallons of kerosene and liquid oxygen), landing on the moon, taking off from the moon and rejoining with Columbia, and then reentry to

I don’t think the response is even “Well we think it’s super fun.” so much as “Oh, you’re probably just playing it the wrong way.”

Try creating different characters with backgrounds and characteristics that clash or are oppositive of your previous character.

Tough one. Any number of Final Fantasy games after the first could make it. Both Baldur’s Gate 2 and 3 were certainly good.

As a PC gamer all of this seems a nightmare. I wait for a sale, and if it comes up I buy it and download the game. That’s it.

With BG3 I feel there are a lot of things that we would normally expect, but Larian went above and beyond in regards to the details with this game.

Just because one set of people played something when it first came out doesn’t mean someone else hasn’t.

I’d add Octopath Traveler 2 to the list.
