That doesn’t make it less stupid.

This all kind of seems like spending money to play something people already paid for 15 years ago.
I think the loading screens made a difference in terms of immersion. Like just recently I was playing Like a Dragon: Gaiden, and as I explored Sotenbori I kept thinking how going into the pharmacy wasn’t a loading screen, or entering the karoake bar wasn’t a loading screen.
Keep in mind that Valve’s heavily promoted the ease of upgrading a Steam Deck. A lot of Steam Deck owners buy the 64GB version and then just replace the internal SSD drive themselves, you can get a 1TB SSD for under $100.
Ah, she’s talking about the Bahamut scene! That was always one of my favorite FF moments.
It reminded me a lot of Battlestar Gallactica’s ending. “All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.”
For the most part I enjoyed the characters, but god I hate how the ending all came down to fatalism and time travel bs. Eren essentially used the old chicken and the egg paradox to explain why he had to kill so many people.
Unconventional formats also makes forwards compatibility that less likely.
An interesting thing about so many of the great titles this year: They’ve all been single player. Baldur’s Gate 3, Phantom Liberty, Tears of the Kingdom, Spiderman 2, Starfield, RE4 Remake, Dead Space Remake, Mario Wonder, Armored Core VI, Lies of P. Single player games have dominated gaming hype for most of this…
Ishin’s out on gamepass, and Dead Space is coming out later. Starfield, you’re going to the backburner.
So, your meta is dependent on only big spenders being able to construct certain badass decks? Because that seems like terrible game design.
I mean you literally said that the ‘super powerful cards’ are only available to a limited amount of people. To me that just doesn’t seem a well designed game where only a small percentage can take advantage of certain mechanics. And if it destroys a game’s balance if a certain card is made available to everyone, then…
Say you have some super powerful card, well you don’t want EVERYONE to get it from booster packs since that could/would massively change the meta of the game
You actually wouldn’t have to wait years, provided that there’s a system for messages to piggyback off of traveling ships. I can’t remember what series it was, maybe it was the Expanse?, but it had something similar that when ships traveled they would update the local news network with whatever messages were being…
In universe it actually makes sense that phones won’t work intergallactically. Grav jumps enable ships to travel across solar systems, but everything else is still limited to the speed of light. So realistically you can’t talk to someone in real time unless they are on the same planet as you.
There are mods that will keep achievements enabled even if you use console commands or other mods.
For any PC users out there, you can also just use console commands to give yourself powers or increase them. Something to consider if searching for temples gets bugged, or you just get sick of doing the puzzle 240 times.
I had an issue where I was missing supernova and Vladimir never gave me the temple location, eventually just went into NG+ and got supernova in that universe.
I think they should change Create Water to be a ritual spell.
In Diablo’s case the series, hell the entire genre is entirely about grinding. It’s not padding, it’s the meat of the game.
