I feel like the show minimizes the prestige of a conference victory enough that any fame and popularity wouldn’t necessarily translate into another region. The only way I’d do a Nuzlocke run is by boxing any fainted Pokémon for the duration of the run as opposed to releasing it. The same challenge effect remains without so much of the emotional loss.
