What you don't see is all the other advertising that's run touting programs to help people quit their addiction. The ad is aimed at those that aren't addicted so critiquing it because it doesn't talk about the addiction is missing the point.
I think the key to looking good in a business casual environment is to look crisp and unwrinkled. So I'd invest in wrinkle resistant clothing and save a ton of money at the dry cleaners or a ton of time ironing.

I'm ;in the same situation but BYOD isn't cheaper - it's actually more expensive than a BES solution. Plus Blackberries are cheaper hardware and cheaper for data (extensive compression - much less bandwidth requirements).
Unless you really want to use film then don't. Get a good modern body. You can do okay on used lenses - Nikon has it better than Canon for this as the lens mount has been consistent. Canon changed theirs when they went electronic.

is there much of a difference between the cars running today and those that will run tomorrow? I'd expect them to be a little slower, less expensive and have less power.
the best photos I have of my kids are from using my Canon G2 with a swing out and movable LCD screen. You can easily hold the camera at waist level and get the shots
