15 MPG!!! 15!!! In 2020 for a car that’s, ostensibly going to be a daily driver. Not some 5000 miles a year supercar or track day special. That’s absurd. Almost an insulting disregard for the conservation of resources and minimizing environmental impact.

No, a thousand times no. Not all things have to have manual transmissions. There is a dump truck near me with a manual transmission for sale. As a wild guess, I would say it drives like an old dump truck even with that transmission.

When we got our car, I spent a lot of time reviewing things like emissions and fuel efficiency. We couldn’t swing an electric car, but I wanted to do the best I could. And I think I did.
Unless it has a hydropneumatic suspension that allows the car to sink several inches when the engine is off, or lets you change a tire without a jack it is NOT a DS.
