I’ve never seen Election, but I’ve heard from a lot of people that it’s very good and I would like to see it someday. I love Matthew Broderick. :) Rushmore is fantastic in every single way, and Bill Murray is worth the watch alone. And as usual, amazing soundtrack.

It’s just no longer Vanity Fair beyond the name. It was always a glossy general interest monthly that appealed to a broad cross section of readers. Now all the old columnists are gone (I miss James Wolcott’s column most) and the focus has shifted to a narrower audience (20-somethings), which is just not Vanity Fair.…
