I have a ‘96 Impala SS, and I put a Tremec T56 in it. Changed the rear gears to 4:10, and it’s amazing. Interior is classic mid-90's GM (crappy plastic, mousefur headliner, “leather”) but it’s all holding up great.

Fair enough!

I have a ‘14 Jeep Wrangler, and it has had no problems in two years of ownership so far. Sure, the interior is a bit crappy (the driver’s seat squab cover keeps coming loose from the frame at the bottom), but - so far, so good. The same was true of the ‘12 I had before that.

Huh. I did not know the Beetle had an oil thermostat! Thank you; I love it when I learn something new!

No thermostats at all, because no liquid in the cooling system! The heater is fed air from a steel “muff” welded around the exhaust and manifold.

It must have been winter when this was taken, because it’s wearing its plastic grill shutter. Because it’s air cooled, you were provided with one to use when it was very cold out. This ensured the engine didn’t overcool, and that the heater would still produce some heat.

You shut your mouth!

So yesterday I voted Nice Price on the Acura, because only $3,000.

Starred for speaking truth!

What are you, John Wick?

Hell there is a damn beetle at #10 for $50g’s.

Fuck it. Best worst idea ever. NP.

You should get some of this. It has saved my sanity, and my knuckles, so many times.

I don’t even valet park my car. I don’t let anyone (except my wife) drive it. This is why.

CP.

This article is making me want to buy some Pilotis.

That’s exactly what they are talking about. BRS - Ballistic Recovery System.

I should point out that while advertised as a Midget, this car presents as a Sprite
