I really enjoyed the first episode. My only minor nitpick, the location chosen for shooting the scenes in Massachusetts doesn’t look right to me. I grew up in Mass. and the scenery doesn’t look like the kind of countryside and forests you see in New England.

I’m enjoying the outfits, but it also kind of reminds me of that scene in Wall-e where they announce a new color and all the passengers immediately change to the new clothes.

Right back at ya junior ;) And while you’re at it, get off my lawn.

The 1984 ad is especially entertaining given Epic is partially owned by China’s government through Tencent.

Like my 10 year-old son who wants to talk into my ear incessantly about the new dance he unlocked and how excited he is for Season 5. Fortnite has turned him in to the energy vampire for What We Do in the Shadows.

What could go wrong? It’s not like there’s an overlap for Covid risk factors and the body type of average NFL fans.

It’s worse than that. Only 15 of those games aren’t fighters. And of those 6 of them are Metal Slug.

I wish they’d do these Neo Geo collections with a few less versions of KOF and SamSho and give us more of the variety of shmups, beat-em-ups, and other great arcade games that used to be in the NEGEO cabs. If they’d included a wider range of the NEO GEo history, i’d might have been down for this.

Amen!

Hell yeah it ruled. For a pure action game, it’s really hard to beat. One of the few games that doesn’t over do it with too many bells and whistles, yet is still satisfying all the way through.

This reads like a summary of the things that have dented my interest in AAA games this generation. It’s gotten so large and expensive to make these games that they play it too safe in the gameplay. They deliver a game that looks pretty but feels stale and boring. Just rehash the same ideas other games have done to

*can’t. Ugh....

Great. Now we can have Animal Crossing at EVO anymore.

How do you decide who wins? The one who’s brain doesn’t explode?

Gamepass ate up all the kinds of games used to be getting in GwG. It’s now just way to pass off some old C-list games as a perk, where it used to be one of Gold’s biggest selling points.

Hardest? No. I play for fun, not pride.

Having watched a couple games this weekend, the empty stadiums definitely sap a lot of the excitement out of the games. There just isn’t the same tension and drama that makes baseball work on TV. I don’t know this will fix it. I’m guessing this will make it feel more weird.

You know how a lot of people’s last names are relics of what their ancestors did for a living. Cooper. Miller. Baker.

I swear to god. If 2020 keeps 2020ing, and we lose Alex this year, i’m going to have to cancel time itself.

I thought Smite was a decent enough spin on the MOBA genre. They didn’t reinvent the wheel on the mechanics, but making it action oriented in 3rd person rather than top-down was pretty unique. It’s not my favoite genre, but i had a good time with it for a bit.
