Been playing Destiny since 2014....I still don’t really understand what’s going on. The storytelling has always been vague gobbledgook to just gets more obtuse as it goes on.

The game calls them Side Missions, but they are mandatory before you can continue with story missions. There is some amount of choice in that it will typically offer you a choice of 3 missions and force you to do 2 of them. I’d agree that doesn’t really make it a side mission, but that’s what the game calls them.

I finished the game a month ago. It’s pretty much just battles from beginning to end for better or worse. All you do between missions is upgrade skill trees and manage gear loadouts from your pickups in the missions. It doesn’t have the base management/travel aspect of X-Com, but the Enemy AI and dice rolls feel a LOT…

Unfortunately seeing the cosplay gives flashbacks of the character’s nasal voice like an ice pick straight in my eardrum. 

Alright! let’s get this new generation pumping with a whole new set of remasters. Who needs new games when we can keep updating the old ones?

For me, the new launches are best for people who might have skipped one of the last generation’s systems. I skipped PS4, so i’m mostly interested in a PS5 to get around to PS4 exclusives and have something new going forward.

Sometimes I feel bad about going digital for all my non-book media....but then I see these stories. This is gross.

I kinda wish CoD’s BR model would just exist as it’s own separate product away from the games with it’s own team supporting it. I feel like the attention paid to that mode has taken away from the quality of the other modes.....particularly the lack of a campaign in B04 and the quality of the maps in standard MP modes.

Agree that’s most likely, but someone should probably ask Nintendo that question. It’ll be interesting to see if Nintendo has the chops to pull it off. Doesn’t seem like the kind of thing that’s in their wheelhouse.

Is this the direction Nintendo is going to go moving forward with more major titles? Given we’re running out of Wii U ports to refresh, i hope this isn’t the way they go when they start making more new entries in their core franchises.

Myst: 2020 Edition

First memory of a scary game was Forbidden Forest on the C64.

No doubt, although watching people run on and off the field and have huddles is not terribly interesting. Also doesn’t change that over 2 hours of the broadcast is commercials.

Ironically, unskippable ads are why I stopped watching most live sports also. 3.5 hours to watch a football game that has 15 minutes of actual action? No thanks.

Picross 3D is mental Pilates. I play it constantly, and I must be absolutely perfect when I do. No mistakes are tolerated.....I have to restart.

Dark Souls. Ornstein & Smaug. Rage Quit. Corrupted Save.

You don’t think people who are into minecraft can’t handle something complicated, or do you think minecraft fans don’t also play other kinds of games? Neither is any more or less true for Steve than any other character.
