This isn’t the same Charlotte that left the island. We also know at some point William is a host. We also don’t know the time span’s between the end the last season and the beginning of this one.

I’m 50/50 Teddy or William. Nu-Char’s neediness and relationship dynamic with Dolores reminds me of Teddy. But the dramatic twist of William having new child issues in a new body is too delicious.

Ditto on thinking it was Teddy until that line about Predators....that had me wondering if its actually William in there somehow. It would make Hale’s storyline of parenting issues land harder if it was actually William inside her head.

Wait, so you can’t crunch 80 hr work weeks, AND homeschool your kids, AND fight off an infectious disease at the same time?

I just assumed by White Stuff he meant Wite-out, so he could edit his speech. Only problem being, nobody explained you don’t use it on teleprompters.

Judging by how much time i waste on GWG sites, i’m already terrible at working at work.

They were trying to get to Maeve’s daughter at their prairie home, and ended up in Shogun world while on the way.

Madden is a simulation game?

Are those Mitch McConnell Koopas?

So it’s like a less Tinder-y version of Reigns?

It’s a tribute to his skill that he can be memorable for something as throwaway as villain role in a comedy about beer.

He may have had many wonderful roles. But to me, he will always be Brewmeister Smith.

Thanks for sharing this story. I’m sure this was super difficult to process, and it’s great to hear a game helped. It’s stories like this that get me past the dismissive attitude my parents generation (i’m 41 now) has towards games as a medium.

I got a good laugh out of it. It’s a bit over the top, but that’s what makes it a TV show. His little monologue walking up the stairs to get his kids to be quiet is pretty much every day for me. I can relate to being someone who was very easy-going until I had kids and then suddenly having anger issues.

No comment on the veracity of this story.

I know i’m going to get flack for this......but is anyone else a little tired of “overcoming the battle with depression” as a central theme in indie games? It seems to keep coming up as much as 16-bit retro art and roguelike elements.

Well he IS kinda funny in those sketches where he just stands there blank faced and says “Okay”.

I think the cost of development has gotten so prohibitively high that major studios are gun-shy about making something new or different. Either that, or I’ve just gotten too old and crotchedy for gaming, like a junkie who can’t get the same highs anymore.

I’d take 5 more years at the current tech if we could move away from all the annoying current trends in games like:

Good episode. Anyone else a little puzzled why the crew all decides to go off and “run errands” after driving all the way specifically to be around Claude? Seemed like a weird choice.
