It’s absolutely infuriating. Traveling right now should be banned — period — but bringing this virus to areas without the infrastructure to manage it should be illegal — with real consequences.

My lips didn’t swell up when pregnant but it’s definitely a thing. In any case, her lips look thick in all three photos above. Her upper lip is just stretched into a smile in the first one — that’s it. Mine do the same.

How old are your friends? My parents are senior citizens, living in their own home, and at least one of them is supposed to get it in February (but hopefully both). The rollout could be better here in Toronto, but the elderly are supposed to get it fairly quickly, even if they aren’t in longterm-care homes.

I’m also struggling to see the moral quandary here. The more people vaccinated = fewer overall deaths. If the vaccines are about to expire anyway, they will be wasted.

2/3 of Trump voters in 2016 earned more than the average person, and that number went up in 2020. The media loves the uneducated rubes narrative, but it’s just not true. The reality is a lot more nuanced and therefore scarier. Your neighbour the dentist? Possibly a Trumpist.
