In the apology video, Diddy’s invocations of God/religion as it relates to notions of forgiveness are particularly disgusting. Anybody who falls for that with a “Who are we to judge” and/or “let he who cast the first stone” is a POS in my book.

Spotify is a massive company worth over $50 billion, has hundreds of millions of subscribers, and has lower overhead than other streamers because it pays artists (outside of Joe Rogan) much, much less. Just because Apple and Google are successful in other fields doesn’t mean that Spotify is the underdog in music…

Just saw it and I’m glad i watched it and I’m glad I saw it in the theater. Probably my only complaint would bethe 6 teens that kept moving around in the theater, talking super loud, one facetiming with someone and another taking pictures of the rest of them with the flash on while others just kept running up and down…

If this emphatically large-scale movie feels to you like “I’ll wait until it hits streaming,” then I imagine pretty much every movie feels like that to you.

Don’t wait. Forget the technical visual and aural advantages of a theater, The Fall Guy is a movie that needs audience vibes to shine. It’s funny and the practical effects are awe-inspiring and something chemical happens when you're with a large group of other people experiencing joy and wonder.

It’s ironic that every time one of these kind of things comes up it makes one of the giant corporations come up and explain what anti-competitive practices are like they haven’t all been doing that shit in one form or another for years now.

Despite its apparent stranglehold, Spotify’s position in the market is threatened by both Google and Apple’s own offerings. Their size give them a lot more runway than Spotify has, so while I’m not really rooting for anyone (other than music artists), I’d say it’s not unreasonable to view Spotify as the underdog here.
