I dislike the term “virtue signalling,” but otherwise generally agree. I don’t even think the writers truly believe half the shit they write. It’s unfortunate, as there are still some good nuggets in there, and we need a feminist pop culture + politically literate blog with a sense of humour.

Then primary the lame duck Democrats with more progressive ones, AOC-style. There’s no excuse not to vote. None. If that’s *all* you’re doing and patting yourself on the back like a good little liberal, that’s one thing, but not voting is exactly what they want you to do.

Maybe? I’m from Toronto and you’re giving me flashbacks, for sure. Also, This is How We Do It and Here Comes the Hotstepper (but both of those were  also huge in the U.S.).

The writers are basically trolling us now. Times are tough. Hot takes increase rage clicks. That’s the only thing I can think of. It’s easy to romanticize the past, but holy shit has the quality of this blog gone downhill.

It makes me complete sense. I don’t know what the author of this post is trying to prove under than the stoke indignation among the commentariat/increase click-views.

Seriously. What the hell is going on with this site? Gaga is looking at the big picture. What a fucked up thing to criticize right now — you can support the Minnesota Freedom Fund *and* register to vote.

Kylie doesn’t even sell foundation, for Christ’s sake

Jenner is right about one thing: Forbes is about as reputable as she is at this point. And I’m more annoyed at them than at her because they absolutely knew better — my teenage niece could tell you that no actual billionaire traffics in as much sponcon (for other makeup companies too?!) as Kylie does — and are milking

My guess is they probably read Brave New World in high school (or the Cliff’s Notes, anyway), and thought it was a Very Important Book.

I am surprised she doesn’t have custom masks made to match her outfits.

But what I mean is — wasn’t she renting with Sarkozy too? I guess I’m just surprised they didn’t own their place.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure I fed a troll. I’ll know better next time.

Am I the only person surprised that she was renting? Or is this in addition to one of the numerous properties she likely also owns?

Sorry — didn’t realize I was potentially feeding a troll.

Really? Because I heard her approval rating was pretty damned high.

Is it an acceptable excuse that I am super pregnant/hormonal right now and really can’t stand Elon Musk either? To the point where I feel bad for Grimes, as annoyingly privileged as she is. I can’t imagine being tied to him for life, and I am almost certain that name was not her idea.

I have been informally following you for years, btw (does that sound weird?) Did not at all mean to imply that you would not be familiar with the awesomeness that is David Bowie! I just got defensive about his parenting choices even being mentioned in the same thread as Musk.

She’s annoying, for sure, but I think he may be genuinely abusive. No one deserves that.

Oh, I know all about Angie. I was just under the impression that Zowie never actually went by Zowie, but I could be completely wrong about that — the last time I read a Bowie biography was for a book report in high school on Famous People I Admire.

Aaawww, I feel kinda bad for Grimes. Yes, she’s 32 and old enough to know better, but as someone who dated some real pieces of work right up until the man I eventually married, I’m just so grateful I never procreated with any of them.
