Damn reliable Hondas.

The Vibe/Matrix were built on a Corolla platform and used Japanese engineered parts and major mechanical components. NUMMI was run like a Japanese plant, not like GM’ Midwest factories.
Let’s be honest though, even if they could, many German luxury cars couldn’t last 15+ years. The only reason to keep them that long would be for sentimental value as maintenance costs would make them financially untenable.
Stop perpetuating that lie. No one is making $100k/year in cash PLUS benefits. Well some people are, I’m sure, but definitely not most of the blue collar jobs. Most media estimates of compensation include benefits. If I include benefits in my compensation, I’m technically making over $200k/year. I sure am not getting…
lmao, sure bud. that’s what it is.
Right, I think for a while the weak Yen is what gave Japanese cars a higher margin.
By “nicer” I meant professional monitors, not gaming monitors. So much of the internet is so one dimensional. Everything about building PCs or PC components is about gaming now, which is fine. But there is a world outside of gaming PCs. Almost all HP monitors I’ve seen use internal power supplies.

I believe all Samsung and Sony TVs have internal power supplies. If you want to wall mount a TV, it becomes much more difficult with an external power supply. I challenge you to find any mid to top-tier TV with an external power supply.

If you’re very aggressive and get a good deal before the finance guy, they usually expect you won’t be buying any add-ons. I don’t think they’d ever rely on the finance guy to make up any profit.
My wife loves her X5. LOVES it. Happy wife, happy life.
It’s possible to set up American EMV cards with a European style PIN for credit card purchases. It’s just not very common. Regardless, chipped cards, even without a PIN, are much more secure. The only difference between using PIN or signature is that someone can still steal your card and use it without your…
Why mention Pearl Harbor though, if he’s not implying that’s just how Japanese people are? It’s a really terrible example to use if he’s just trying to bring up another example of a “sneak attack”. In the spectrum of racism, it’s not that high, but it seems like a very questionable thing to say at least.
I mean, I don’t like it, but it’s not any worse than the average new large luxury car. Have you seen the new 7 series grille?
Don’t forget about Cole Trickle. He doesn’t know anything about cars.
This is why you never skimp on any medical work done on your face or eyes. It’s simply not worth it.
Having a turn signal on for several minutes? lol, no, that’s exaggeration. I’m sure it does happen but it’s nowhere near common enough to make note of it. It’s probably as common as seeing someone forget to turn their blinkers off.
You must be exaggerating. I’ve never seen anyone activate their turn signals “several miles” in advance of their turn. That would render a turn signal completely pointless unless you’re in a very rural area. That would fall under the category of “I left my signal on accidentally.”
Having owned 3 BMWs now with these types of turn signals (luckily they are moving away from them now), they are not hard to get used to. They are still frustrating sometimes and I’m glad they now have more traditional turn signal stalks. However, it shouldn’t be that hard to figure them out.
You could take a look at half the stock market and see the exact same curve. The CEO of Boeing must have been working his ass off to improve not just Boeing but nearly every company in America.
You realize that people buying those cars is the reason normal enthusiasts can afford to get them used right?
