You also have to consider there might be people trying to sell their allotment for a profit. Considering it’s fully refundable and only $100, it’s a fairly low risk “investment” for a potential future payoff.

Wisconsin is a beautiful state but there’s not much to do there in the winter but drink. There’s also a lot of tourism, and strict DUI enforcement would put a hamper on that.
There’s not really a better way to do it. The penalties for DUI are about as stiff as you can get assuming you don’t harm someone. People “accidentally” or inadvertently leave the scene of an accident all the time. They’re either too scared to stop, they don’t realize they’ve been hit (very small accident), or they…
That’s someone’s wife and mother.
That’s a shame for GM to spend all that money on development. It looks like it’ll be another small-block for the CT-V track version. Whatever it’s called.
I think you misunderstood earlier reports. It will still be used for the CT5. It just won’t be used in any other cars.
Two things:
There are other advantages to NA. There’s immediate throttle response, smoother power delivery, and reduced complexity. With a manual transmission, I think NA engines are far more fun to drive. Not saying I prefer NA engines, but they have their charm.
I used to use one of these and they’re actually pretty awesome. The only problem is they pick up dead skin and gunk from your wrists and you have to clean them every once in a while. For the money it’s not really worth it, but it seems like a waste of resources to just keep replacing these.

The largest incentive for these guys to write about something is if it gets clicks. Love it or hate it, people love clicking on Tesla stuff. If I owned a car blog or my paycheck relied on website clicks, I’d certainly write about it. It’s completely on-topic, after all.
Maybe they mean Biermann’s first N car was the Veloster and the i30N was mostly developed before his tenure.
Any person could see this was not a stock engine. I’m not sure what they were thinking. You can’t triple the output of an engine with only software. Even a modest 100hp bump will likely require some light supporting modifications. Possibly a few bolt-ons.
The Supra looks completely different from the outside. No one could guess they were built on the same platform just by looking at them from the outside. It’s also a bit cheaper and is tuned to be more sporty. Most importantly, it’s a sports coupe while the Z4 is an open top roadster.
The Z4 is one of the best sports/GT cars on the road right now at its price point. It’s based on the CLAR architecture which underpins a lot of longitudinal/RWD cars.
What’s wrong with just using an eye dropper?
Just do not cross over into another lane or into the shoulder. If there’s not enough room for a bike to split lanes with the cars staying within their lanes, then they shouldn’t be splitting lanes. This is a huge pet peeve of mine when drivers think they should for some reason drive into the shoulder to let a bike…
High beams on motorcycles are actually recommended by many state DMVs during the day. Some motorcycles even have built-in high beam alternators. I’ve never been bothered by a motorcycle using their high beams. Ever. It’s always some annoying clueless driver in a Camry with their high beams on.
In California, where splitting lanes is legal, there are always those idiots that drive halfway into the shoulder to make space for a motorcycle splitting lanes. As if a motorcycle doing something that is deemed safe and legal suddenly makes it safe and legal to drive on the shoulder? Of course it doesn’t. Move over…
I’ll bet you $100 that zero sheet metal or body panels are the same part. They’re completely different platforms and they’re made in different countries. Most Altima parts are made in North America and most Skyline parts are made in Japan. There’s no reason to share any significant parts.
Have you seen how large drones are and what kind of propulsion they use?
