Because gatekeeping makes him feel superior to others.

OK, numbers are all that matter. Got it.

“Claim” is used when a site like Jalopnik hasn’t personally verified anything. The creator of this presentation is “stating” something. Jalopnik is repeating their “claims.”

But where are those words or punctuations used in this article at all?

It’s strange because Honda used to be so much about conservative styling. I don’t care, though. My top family friendly cars in that price range would be the Si, Accord 2.0T 6MT, and the CTR. Once you’re behind the wheel, you know that Honda focused a lot more on the driving experience than other hot hatches. Though,

Constantly dropping names of expensive cars and you’re talking about insecurity? LMAO. I was going to troll you a bit more but you’re too much.

Except the CTR is faster around a track than the RS. Having AWD doesn’t necessarily make a car better. The CTR is faster than a Golf R around pretty much any track, and is also on average faster around a track than the RS. If straight line speed and looks are all you care about, sure the RS is better. But IMO, the CTR

It’s all about the price, right? I’d imagine price is one of the, if not the single most important statistic when we’re talking about cars like this.

Everything is relative. I could also say 2000 lbs is not light. Or even 1000 lbs. Are you comparing cars of a different era? Because that makes no sense. A more appropriate comparison would be power to weight ratio. Sure cars are heavier now but they also have more power, far better tires, and usually better

I was reading a comparison graph on either C&D or R&T and the Supra beat out the Z4 and Cayman in most road holding stats. And in straight line acceleration. I’m not saying the Cayman is not a better sports car because I do think it is. But it’s also more expensive. My basic point is that the Supra does have a place

Dude, salesman come to my home on the weekends and pay me to take their cars. So when you get on THAT level, let’s talk.🤑 🤣🤣 😂 😆 👎 🙌

That’s not the point at all. The point is that the Supra offers more refinement, about equal performance, and a more true sports car experience. The Mustang and Camaro are great cars but they have some glaring deficiencies. The Mustang handling is quite as good as the Camaro and the general refinement of both are

I agree coverage is positive. The circle-jerk, as usual, is in the comments of Jalopnik or Reddit amongst armchair experts who will never drive the car or even see it for years

The C7 was definitely more refined than the C5 and C6, but not quite up to the level of most $60k+ cars. It also had a lot of little details that reminded you that Chevy dipped into the GM parts bin. The C8 on first glance doesn’t seem that way, so that’s why I put a disclaimer that the C8 could be a true break from

Everyone should simply pay MSRP like you do with pretty much everything else. If you can’t afford it, buy something you can. Everyone gets the same deal, no one gets ripped off but no, everyone wants to be king shit the ragman and display their superior negotiating skills 🤣🤣🤣

People cross shop the Boxster and Z4 all the time. The Porsche is obviously more of a driver’s car while the Z4 is more of a luxury car. That doesn’t mean people don’t cross shop them. And considering the Supra is just a sportier version of the Z4, then I’d gather there will be a group of people that will cross shop

Have you ever driven or sat in an M2 or M2 Comp? The 2 series is noticeably less refined than the F30 3 series and the F30 was kind of known to be a little bit “cheap” (relatively, it was still OK). It also uses the older S55, not the newer B58/S58 engine.

No way. The newZ4 is much better than the previous E89 Z4, but the Supra looks much better. Of course, looks are subjective.

I completely agree that the Cayman is probably a better driver’s car. I can almost guarantee it. However, all reviews have indicated the Supra is a very good driver’s car as well. Most say it’s better than the Z4 it shares components with because of the sportier Toyota tuning with less attention to luxury.

Do we need to mention the C8 in literally every single Supra or sports car thread? There’s this circle-jerk that the Supra is a bad car, or that it’s overpriced, or that it’s ugly. Objectively, the first two are not true at all. It’s very sport, drives very well, and is priced cheaper than comparable German cars. I
