That’s a valid point, but it has nothing to do with comparing the Supra to a C8. And if you don’t care about lineage, every single professional review has gushed about the sportiness of the Supra. It is a good sports car and not overpriced by any means considering it is basically a sportier tuned hard top Z4.

I agree. I once in a while think about getting a Scat pack or Hellcat Challenger as it’s the only 2 door big enough to satisfy my kid’s booster. They all have their strengths. The G70 is more of a traditional luxury sport sedan, the Charger/Challenger is a pure muscle car, and the Stinger meets somewhere in the middle.

Yes it absolutely is. Faster 0-60 and faster in the 1/4 mile while being cheaper than the base Cayman. How are actual facts and numbers “BS” now? 

I’m basing that on road handling numbers taken from a Car & Driver review of the Supra. According to my print magazine, the Supra holds higher Gs and does the slalom more quickly. The Cayman is reviewed as having better steering feel, though.
