What are you talking about? Ghosn was denied bail because he was a flight risk. That’s done in all Western countries.

America does get the Skyline. It’s called the G35/G37/Q50. It’s the exact same Skyline that Japan gets except it has the Infiniti badge.
I don’t think any cars from the 80s have an OBDII port which is the latest standard. Admittedly, I don’t know much about OBD, but I don’t think there was wide adoption of onboard diagnostics standards until OBDII and most cars built before 1995 do not have OBDII.

Unfortunately, since most of public education money comes from property taxes, areas like the South Side of Chicago will have terrible schools and terrible teachers. Can you imagine trying to lift people out of poverty by making them pay for their own schooling? That’s essentially the system we have.
I don’t think I could ever spank my child, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to ban it. Light spanking and punishment might be the only thing some children will respond to. And this might be acceptable in other cultures. Parents shouldn’t go to jail just because they spanked their child.
Wait, you saw a black person working at Chick Fil A?
Insult Saab? You do realize that Saab sold a rebadged Trailblazer as a 9-7x and Subaru WRX as a 9-2x. They weren’t just “built on the same platform” or just with the same chassis or anything. They shared most interior and exterior body panels and parts and switchgear.
How is being calm while observing an accident equate to higher premiums? I feel like I have a fairly normal reaction. Many people don’t freak out when they see a relatively minor accident like this happening in front of them.
I’ve noticed I’m surprisingly calm during accidents like this. Inside, my mind is racing, but externally I get pretty quiet. It seems to be a fairly common reaction based on seeing some of these accident videos.
The driver originally stopped right before the crosswalk. He wasn’t on the crosswalk before he backed up.
I think, based on the driver’s response, that this is just one of those bad drivers that thinks they need to stand a car length behind the crosswalk.
Yes, history teaches us nothing. We shouldn’t try to learn from it at all and just ignore the stuff we don’t like. /s
Not all of us are born virtuous without any racism like everyone here, I guess. I’d rather be friends with someone who is honest about who they are and what they are doing to actively fix issues with their characters than people who claim to never have had a racist idea or thought in their head.
They shouldn’t make an EV version of this car. They should make a clean slate EV coupe similar to this car. Car companies need to stop building retrofitted EVs. Making a skateboard style EV as envisioned by GM at the turn of the century naturally gives cars a low center of gravity, great handling, and very efficient…
The memo makes a small paragraph mention of pro-choice extremism and admits it is a smaller threat than pro-life extremism.
I remember riding in my family’s W126 in the 90s. We had it well into my high school years so I remember that car very well. And I drove it quite a bit as well. It was definitely a proper Mercedes.
I wouldn’t go that far. The feeling of solidity in a Rolls is not replicated even in the Model S.
Things like aniline leather, sound deadening, high strength steels with tons of bracing, and liberal amounts of seal saler are things that cheap cars probably will never have. At least not for the foreseeable future. There are hard parts that have always cost money that only luxury cars have and are getting more and…
I will that say the Tesla has a super refined and quiet ride. Possibly the best in the industry. But when it comes to fit and finish and materials quality, many “regular” cars like Mazda and even Kia have models that are significantly better.
Well Tesla had the benefit of being a new car. Just look at car sales for something like the Wrangler. Whenever it comes out, the first year or two has crazy high sales due to its popularity. The Model 3 amplifies that as people were on the waiting list for literally years and had an unbelievable amount of hype behind…
