So you think they should leapfrog Mercedes and go straight for the luxury British cars? Maybe Cadillac could have done that some day before we were born, but not right now. They need slightly more conservative styling and realize that refining that last 10% makes a huge difference in perception of luxury.

You’re the worst type of “enthusiast”. You make things up to support your perception of cars. Just because you don’t like a brand doesn’t mean you have to make up ridiculous claims about them.

Why is that a big deal? Admittedly it’s 99% a cosmetic detail, but it’s still an extra outlet. A LOT of cars have two tailpipes coming out of a single muffler. Mustang GT350, F80 M3, BMW 335/340i, Chevy SS, etc etc. In fact, it might be more common among performance cars than not.

Let’s hope. I am 90% committed to getting a G80 M3 6MT if they make it. I’d prefer one with some amenities, but I’ll take a Pure version if that’s my only option.

Well the M4 and M3 are pretty much identical under the sheet metal. It doesn’t make sense NOT to offer a manual M3 if they can make some money from it.

I’ve heard the transmission feels like an economy car manual and the 2.0t is much slower than comparable 2.0t cars like the A4 and BMW 330i. As long as you’re OK with a 7s 0-60 time and a slightly rubbery shifter, though, Genesis has claimed they will continue to offer the manual for at least a few years.

As far as I know, both Audi and MB have fairly low residuals. Only BMW offers very cheap lease rates (among luxury cars that actually sell, anyway).

Don’t get our hopes up. Although BMW could easily make that happen since the platform is being made with a manual in other countries albeit only with much smaller engines. Then again, if the M4 is definitely getting a manual, then they already have everything they need to physically make a manual M340i.

It’s important to note that the electric water pump is for turbocharger cooling. The engine water pump is belt driven, not electric.

It really doesn’t matter. There is a very small group of people who would even know what those numbers mean but also not know that those badges were fake.

EVERYTHING is fine in moderation. I’ve never been to a good restaurant that used zero salt or seasonings. MSG is always used in small quantities and never covers up flavors as much as things like salt and pepper do.
