She did in fact push him and put up her fists against him. He of course had no right to punch her and I hope they throw the book at him for what he did. But to simply describe what she did as “approaching” him is simply a lie that is disproven by the very video linked in this “article”.
This is The Root. There is assuredly more to the story. I don’t understand why Root fails to get the full story though. In this story, there is no reason that man should have punched a preteen girl in the face. She probably weight less than 1/3 this guy’s weight. She was zero threat to him.
Salt can easily do exactly the same things that MSG does in high quantities (like used in this study). The only difference is that we can easily taste salt and avoid it accordingly.
How is it different to any other naturally occurring chemical used to enhance flavor like salt, pepper, cumin, etc.? Why is it different when you use cheese, soy sauce, or other ingredients naturally high in MSG type chemicals?
What makes this a “digital” PSU? From your description, it sounds like it’s just an analog PSU with some digital monitoring. Seems like misleading marketing, kinda like selling an LTE phone as 5G E.
A moderately optioned BMW 335i (F30) cost about $54-$55k. A well optioned six cylinder 3 series is over $60k. And you STILL can’t get an LSD as a factory option. It’s a $2600 dealer/port installed option.
If they sold this in the United States for under $45,000 or so, I’d buy it.
The average AMERICAN is pretty large, which is why the Challenger/Charger sell so well, I think. I’m 6'2" and I still think these cars are absolutely massive.
The car sells well. Many Americans just want a big comfortable car that can go fast for their stoplight races and so the owners can brag about their peak horsepower numbers. The old guys who can afford these cars are largely in this group of enthusiasts. The styling speaks to Americans in Middle America as well. Even…
I do sympathize with poor people. However, fixing an exhaust leak is pretty easy and cheap. You take it to a muffler shop and they’ll fix it for less than $100. I know, if you’re poor even that might be a lot, but don’t forget you’re also driving a car. There must be SOME responsibility to keep your car in good…
I don’t know what you’re trying to prove with those pictures. This is an excerpt from C&D on the CT6 interior:
It’s very dangerous for Musk to have said what he did. By using the word “literally” he’s guaranteed that no one will have to replace the brake pads on their Tesla for the life of the car. This is a statement by the CEO of Tesla. I bet enough owners could band together and force Tesla to pay for any brake jobs…
I wonder if having resistor banks would be a feasible way to allow to bleed off energy from the regen brake system when the batteries were full. It probably isn’t worth the cost, though, considering how minimally EVs use their brake pads to begin with.
Well you’re wrong. Unless you’re maybe looking dimensions for the 2nd gen Century. This is the third gen. Again though, it’s not a significant size increase. My point is that COMTNDVR was WAY off when he said that the Century was “significantly smaller” than the CT6. The CT6 doesn’t even come close to comparing to the…
A ripoff? of the 300 or Mark VIII? lol no. No one would ever intentionally copy a Mark VIII, first off. Second, the 300 is basically a ripoff of the Rolls Royce and is cheaply made (relatively). The Century is actually comparable to a Rolls. But I agree there is a lot of Rolls Royce in the new Century.
People like you, who are the blind majority of car buyers, are why we have cars that all look the same. You can’t appreciate a car’s design for what it is.
Yes, power curves. Peak horsepower figures are a very one dimensional way to rate how powerful an engine is. Thus, you can’t just add the peak numbers for two different motors and calculate what your total peak will be.
This car is in every measurable way significantly smaller than a CT6.
The Century is a Japanese competitor to cars like the Rolls Royce. It’s waaay nicer than anything under $100,000. It’s not as nice as a Rolls, but it’s near that class of car. Its side profile is very similar to Rolls as is the front headlight design. The rear definitely is reminiscent of older American luxury sedans.
