The Century is a car in between an S class and a Rolls Royce. It’s definitely a step above the LS. I don’t think it would sell well at all. What miniscule market there is belongs to Rolls Royce and maybe the Maybach S600. Bentley is a bit sportier. All that said, no one is going to buy a Lexus that costs that much.

There’s a very real ergonomic reason for floating screen designs. First off, the screen is higher and so you don’t have to move your eyes as much off the road. Second, the entire dashboard isn’t almost as tall as your gauge cluster. Lowering the dashboard under the screen gives the whole cabin a much airier feel. Most

Opting out of free samples is “defying Amazon”? OK sport.

I guess that’s what it ultimately comes down to.

Well, considering how many people I see using their phones while driving, it might make driving safer for people who constantly feel like they need to check their phone while driving.

HUD is relatively new for the general public. Very few cars came with HUDs until fairly recently. GM is a strange company that spends lots of money developing excellent products (MagneRide, HUD, EV1, etc.) but also is terrible at turning that into profits or elevating its brand. Other than GM, only a few luxury cars

Your logic makes no sense. The reason distracted driving is a problem is because we take our eyes off the road. So rather than looking down at a nav screen, or the radio, we just have the info in our natural line of sight.

Uh, that’s an example calling out a specific block that has an especially large number of signs. That doesn’t indicate a “problem with sign pollution.” For me personally, I’ve never been overwhelmed with signs other than parking signs in downtown Chicago. But that’s not distracting while driving. You just have to

I imagine the advertisements would be subtle, like just showing POIs on your route. This would most likely be defeatable as this is similar to what most modern navigation systems do.

Wasn’t it just the hardtop that was built my Karmann? Wasn’t the car basically a Daimler product that was badge engineered for Chrysler?

I bought a car and a home within a couple months of each other and the FICO scores from two different agencies were within 5 points of each other. I believe you, but I think for most people those scores are fairly similar.

What CarMax pays is on the high end for trade-ins. They are also on the high-end for used cars. However, they also provide the five day return period. You can return the car for the full price of the car within 5 days. That’s unheard of in the used car industry. It gives you time to get it inspected, cool off, and

It literally doesn’t affect you at all. these blogs don’t charge you to view them so they make money through advertising and affiliate links. Why do you care? You use their website right? You don’t think they deserve a bit of compensation? Are you going to pay a monthly subscription fee?

You have to drive the car to judge its interior. I’ve rented a few new Cadillacs like the ATS and XTS. While I wouldn’t go so far as to say that it has a Malibu interior, Cadillac’s quality is noticeably chintzier than other true luxury marques.

It’s not just the Corvette though. If you take a GM car comparable to a Toyota or Honda, the quality just isn’t there. It’s nowhere near as bad as it used to be, but there are still those little differences in the feel and look of the plastics and the way everything is put together. Even Kia and Hyundai have

It’s actually not completely true. First, no one really knows how FICO calculates the score. But they do take into account the length of your oldest account, average age, as well as the age of your youngest account. Also, closed accounts are still on your credit record so make some impact.

My Chevy SS did. Probably an Australian thing, though. I wouldn’t want to be caught in the outback without a spare. Not even just a full size spare. It was an OEM wheel AND tire.

I’m a corvette owner.

Even Genesis uses unique switchgear and interior components as does the Kia Stinger compared to the rest of Hyundai and Kia cars. VW uses stuff that could pass muster in an entry leve luxury car in the Golf. GM uses crap parts in everything from their Cruze to the Cadillac ATS-V to the ZR1 supercar killer. In a Cruze

You’re overthinking it. It’s just some people having fun. Non-car people won’t care, won’t know, and it’s not for them. This is a joke for car people who will know and understand the joke immediately.
